JAMB Registers Over 1.2 Million Candidates In 3 Weeks
The
registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has disclosed that over 1.2 Million candidates
have already registered for the 2017
UTME.
He further revealed that over 678 centres across the country will be used to conduct the exam.
He that has been an arrangement with Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-producing Company to transport candidate in riverside areas with helicopter to their CBT centres.
He mentioned that the reason for ‘capturing’ candidates’ ten fingers in biometric registration is to forestall incidence of multiple registrations as noticed with previous years registration.
He said the reason for profile creation and other processes to strengthen the education data and ensure that candidates do not go through ‘hell’ years after graduating from tertiary institutions.
