FUTO Student Attempts Suicide

   Information reaching us from one of our correspondence in FUTO has it that a final year student of FUTO and former Chief In Command Man O War FUTO Chapter attempted taking his life by jumping into FUTO Ota mmiri river this morning. Below is the report sent to us

   "This morning (saturday), as I conducted my early morning run, popularly known as “Road work”, along with some people, we saw a crowd gathered and body being rescued from Otamirir River.  It was our own Sydney Prince, a fresh graduate and former Man o war C in C Futo command. He was unconscious and has been rushed to the hospital. Rescuers believe he is still alive but needs immediate medical attention.                                                
Prince is not a stranger to us, we all know him, there are a lot of questions as to how he ended up in Otamiri River-

Did he jump or did he fall? Was he thrown or pushed over the bridge? Was this suicide or an attack? Some people claim he was answering a call when this incident took place, either way this was an attempt on his life and it should not be treated casually, whether physical or spiritual it’s still too early to tell and there’s still too little info to conclude but time will reveal that which is hidden.
What prompted such an act is still unknown and God forbid this becomes a trend in Futo".
PLEASE anybody who knows anything should speak up or report to any security agency because today it’s C in C, tomorrow it could be you.

   Recall that the management of the institution has increased their school fees and mandates every student to pay a damage fee of 12,500 many student complained about this, could it be the reason why this young man tried to take his life? Because things are very hard. We call on the FUTO Mgt and federal government to look into the problem in FUTO.
