LASU VICE CHANCELLOR HOSTS STUDENT LEADERS, DISCUSSES STATE-OF-THE-ART HOSTEL PROPOSAL AS FOUNDATION IS SET TO BE LAID

Today, Friday; 3rd of March proved to be another great day
as the numero-uno of LASU - Professor Olanrewaju
Fagbohun hosted Student Leaders of the Lagos State
University in his office. The Vice Chancellor bared his mind
on student welfarism, job opportunities for students and the
proposed first phase of the 6,000 capacity student
accommodation project. With regards to the latter, the
Juggernaut of Environmental Law provided the students with
the rare opportunity of going through the building plan. The
proposed hostel plan which will feature a personal
bathroom,toilet and cubicle for each student will begin in
22days time and it's going to be very affordable.
The Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency - Governor
Akinwunmi Ambode will kick start the project with the
ground breaking ceremony on the 23rd of this month and it
is projected to be completed in 15-months.
At the meeting with the Vice Chancellor was :

It was a fruitful and fun filled meeting as the Student
Leaders were updated on the progress made by the
University most especially in terms of attracting confidence
through investments from the private sector.
Again, on Monday, 6th of March,2017 the Student Leaders
and the University Management will be back on the dialogue
table at the monthly breakfast meeting while a date for the
quarterly Town Hall Meeting(a meeting of all students with
the University Management) is set to be fixed - Need I say
Professor Fagbohun and his team are 21st century
administrators?
NEVER AGAIN SHALL WE GO ON THE STREETS TO RESOLVE
OUR DIFFERENCES. IT IS ALL ABOUT PEACE, INCLUSIVENESS,
