The Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (FUNAI), Ebonyi state has
matriculated 1,500 students for the 2016/2017 academic session.
This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba during the matriculation ceremony of the University held on Wednesday, 25th January, 2017.
It was learnt that the freshmen are the 5th set of students of the University.
Unlike in previous years, this year’s event was decentralized to faculties, with the Deans of Faculty overseeing the ceremony on behalf of the Vice Chancellor at their various faculties.
The Vice Chancellor advised the students to avoid all manner of campus attractions and face their studies squarely to avoid regrets at the end. He further reminded them that the University has zero tolerance to cultism, examination malpractice, drug abuse, prostitution, s*x and money-for-marks and other social vices, advising the students to mind their studies and be of good behavior if they intend to succeed in the University.
