FUTO to increase school fees for the 2016/2017 academic session

Rumors are trailing inside the campus of the Federal University of technology, Owerri, that there is an increment of school fees for the 2016/2017 academic session. A visit to the school’s website does not confirm such news, neither have we heard of any authority in the school make any such declaration public as at the time of this publication. Yet, there are chances the rumor could be true, as a similar attempt was made to increase the student’s school fees at the beginning of the just concluded 2015/2017 academic session, but it wasn’t successful.
Students of the University could be in for a rough ride this time if the rumor turns out to be true at the end of the day owing to the fact that there is recession in the country, however, the “spirit of Aluta” should always prevail.
