UNIUYO Inaugurates New SUG Executives

The SUG inauguration which took place on the 29th of august, 2016 at Onyema Ogochukwu Hall Main campus, University of Uyo, Uyo is a ceremony to remember. According to Samuel Maurice who took to his facebook page #TheMedia, Read what he said about the events;

Indeed today’s inauguration was epic and according to the Dean of students, University of Uyo, Mrs. Solomon , it was “maiden”.
It was indeed an event with much glamour and glitters as top dignitaries and respectable citizens graced the epic event.
The likes of the son of the former deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State , Engr. Chris Ekpenyong FNSE , the national chairman of NUJ, Mr. Albert , the S.A to the governor on student matters , Miss Aquila , the first Dean of students university of Uyo, Prof. Basset George and a host of other top dignitaries.

SUG presidents from university of Abuja, Akwa Ibom State University , Akwapoly and Uyo City polytechnic.
Past SUG presidents from the faculty of engineering also did well to grace the inauguration of the 2016/2017 SUG cabinet members.
Students were also massively present despite the fact that the inauguration was held almost a week after examinations.
All these are a pointer to the kind of support this administration has both within and without .
The students believe in them, the government of the day believes in them. The school’s management also looks very ready to work with them considering the presence of top shots in the university’s management.

Indeed it was an interesting ceremony, no wonder it is still the talk of the campus.
