END TIME :Kano Set To Give Out 2,000 Widows, Divorcees For Marriage

Kano State Hisba Board has disclosed that the state government is set to give out 2, 000 widows and divorcees in marriage.
Speaking with reporters on Tuesday, the Director General of the board, Dr Abba Sufi, explained that the preparation followed the recent directive by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to the board to start preparation.
Sufi said: “The aim of the programme is to check prostitution and other social vices in the society, hence the decision of government to sustain it”.
According to him, the board has since commenced preparation for the event which is expected to take place before the end of the year.
