IMSU Notice On The 2016/2017 SECOND SEMESTER EXAMINATION; SECURITY ADVISE TO ALL IMO STARS

This is to officially bring to your notice that the complete Imo State University second semester examination timetable (subject to update) has been released. The examination is scheduled to commence on the 24th of July 2017 and end on the 14th of August 2017. All 100 level students are advised to make use of their matriculation numbers in the forthcoming examination.

Furthermore, it is on record that second semester examinations across Nigerian Institutions comes with a lot of security challenges especially outside University environments. This occurs most at times as a result of the tension raised by members of various clandestine societies who finish their degree exams during this period and may wish to pose a huge security threat to the vulnerable students and the entire community at large.

Subsequently, the Commissioner of Police, CP Chris Okey Ezike has given an order of 24/7 Patrol Security to all Police Divisions within IMSU axis. Please do not keep late nights during this period and make sure you immediately vacate from any scene that may warrant a massive raiding/arrest in such environment.

While solid arrangements are being made with security operatives to secure lives and properties of our students and ensure a continuous peaceful and safe atmosphere especially in all our student alliances, I advise all Imo State University Students to ensure they have their IMSU Student I.D Cards (either from Imsu ICT, their Department or Faculty) with them at all times and all places and avoid involving themselves in any unlawful act that may position them for confrontations with Security operatives especially the Nigerian Police Force Imo Command and cause them to face the Laws of the land.

I wish You Success and God's uncommon grace in the Forthcoming Examination!

Congratulations to all Graduates-in-view!
